在英语中，b动词后可以直接加副词，构成系表结构，系表结构一起相当于谓语。但注意，做表语的这个副词通常只是地点副词here， there， over there， back， home， up， in， out， away等等。例如：My car is here. Theirs is over there. They are back. They are home. The sun is up. 等等。
