被动语态否定式are not可以缩写。
被动语态的构成是
助动词be+及物动词的过去分词
be不论是用作系动词还是助动词，当在be的后面加not时，大多数可以缩写(am除外，am与not不能缩写)。
例句：

3、I am not a student.
