在英语中一个句子中只可以有一个be动词，不仅如此，一个句子中只能有一个动词，这是英语语法的规定。例如：The girl on the left is my young sister.左边的那个女孩这我妹妹.句中be动词is。
The boy wearing the blue coat is Mike.穿蓝外套的男孩是Mike.句中有了be动词is，所以前面的wearing用的动名词。
