intent？
intent的动词形式是intend，其基本释义如下。
（1）指做某事时，心中对于该事计划、结果以及做该事的目的了然于胸。
例如：Maybe he intends to leave her.
也许他打算离开她。
What do you intend doing when you get to this place?
你打算到这里干什么？
（2）认为某事有特定含义。
例如：What exactly did you intend by that remark?
你那句话到底想说什么？
He intended it as a joke.
他只想开个玩笑。
